Often times we look for ways to prevent sweating and more importantly bad body odour! The truth is, our body NEEDS to sweat in order to properly eliminate toxins and promote a healthy lymphatic system. There are many natural deodorants on the market that I have tried but none of them helped to prevent the bad odour without multiple applications throughout the day. This recipe does the trick and I can sweat without the stink! HEALTHY DEODORANT RECIPE 1 tsp arnica tincture 1 tsp calendula tincture 250 ml zinc oxide cream DIRECTIONS: Mix about 1 TBSP of the zinc oxide cream with the tinctures. Wash underarms thoroughly and dry. Apply a thin layer of ointment mixture to underarms and leave overnight. Wash off in the morning. The application of this ointment will remove bacteria for about 1-2 weeks however you will still sweat (which is a good thing!) Repeat as needed. What natural deodorants have you tried?

The elderberry plant grows all over North America. Elderflower is the first to appear on the plant early summer, and shortly thereafter the elderberry itself begins to develop. It is easy to spot, growing in large umbels of star-shaped flower clusters, which can reach a lofty 4 to 12 inches in diameter! Each individual flower within the cluster possesses 5 petals along with 5 pale yellow thin filaments which grow from the center of the flower. The elderflower has so many immune boosting benefits just as much as the elderberries themselves. They are a diuretic, laxative, antiviral, antiseptic, as well as hosts a plethora of anti-inflammatories and contains high amounts of vitamin C.
